Today Grampa flew into LA from his trip to New York so Kylie and I picked him up at the airport and headed to The Huntington Museum in Pasadena. The museum part was cool - they had so many old books from hundreds of years ago, but we couldn't really spend the time looking at them since Kylie was talking and screaming (in a happy way) so loud in the little museum we were afraid she was bothering everyone else! We rushed through the museum part and set out to explore the gardens. It was so beautiful, I couldn't ever describe it well enough to do it justice! They have an amazing Children's Garden with so many cool things to touch, do, and see! We also really liked the Rain forests, Japanese Gardens, the Herb Gardens, and the fact that Kylie fell asleep during a portion of it! :)Here is Kylie in a tunnel were when the sun hits just right these beautiful rainbows appear on the ground...was she wearing the perfect outfit for this pic or what?!
Kylie and Grampa in the Children's Garden
Fast asleep! (I guess museums are boring for kids!)
I thought this was so cool...at the right angle it looked just like a heart!
