Squeeker Reunion!

Today my friend Megan held a "Squeeker Reunion" at her house in Orange County! The Squeekers (named after the high-pitch "squeeking" sound that results when we all get together and start chatting) are the group of girls I hung out with from Junior High on through High School. We try to get together every now and then and stay in touch. Megan was nice enough to offer up her awesome house for us to meet up at! It was so much fun to get together and catch up on every one's life! We were so excited to visit with Mandi and KK again - I love that Kylie and Kennedi (Squeekers in training) are so close in age, although are at WAY different stages in their little lives!! We had a great time squeeking it up, eating, drinking, and of course snapping a thousand pics! Unfortunately Susan and Charlene couldn't be there, but there is always the reunion! :) Thanks, Meg, for having us over!

The Squeek Mob!

Mandi and KK - she just LOVES purses!!

Meg and Glynnis

Mel, Caitlin, Shanny, and Kristen

Here is Kylie trying to be cool like KK and climb the stairs!

I was feeding Kylie some Puffers and KK kept coming over for some. I finally held out the container for her and she jammed her hand in, grabbed an entire handful, and proceeded to shove them all in her mouth at once! She did this over and over! It was so hilarious!

I was so excited when I saw Kylie going for the baby doll, then I realized, she just wanted something to put in her mouth! Damn!

I think Kylie idolizes Kennedi! She followed her around the entire day!

Padres' Game!

This afternoon Daddy drove down to visit with Grammer, Gramper, Auntie Lewis and Cousin Amy. Unfortunately I forgot to warn him about the Fair traffic so it took him FOREVER to get down here! By the time he arrived we had about 10 minutes to socialize until it was time to leave for dinner at Sammy's then go to the Padres' game at Petco Park! Amy has connections with someone from the Mariners and was able to get 4 pretty good seats, but the rest of us sat WAY up top! Not that it mattered, I don't think I looked at the field once, and I can't even tell you who won! I was just happy to get our (Jim and my) first night out without Kylie since she was born! Nana and Grammer stayed home to watch Tyler, Kylie, and Bailey (Sarah and Jeff's dog)! They had their hands full and we really appreciated the night out! Believe it or not, I didn't even want to call home once to check on her! Thanks, Mom!! It was neat to be able to see the new stadium downtown (it was my first time there), but my brothers and sisters were ready to kill me since I complained about the new stadium the whole time! I am sorry, but NOTHING will ever beat the Murph!!

I still don't get why Jim has to dress in Angel's gear when the Padres weren't even playing the Angels?! It must be some weird sports thing I will never get!

The family at Petco Park!

Look! I even wore blue to support the team (okay it was a coincidence)

The view from the gift shop!

The view from our seats! Yikes!

Sisters!

A trip to the park!

In order to get out of the house and get some fresh air we dragged Grammer and Gramper to the park! Kylie was so exhausted so I left her home sleeping under Grampa's watchful eye, well actually ear - she was crying for quite a while up in her travel crib before she finally fell asleep. Here are a few pics:

Another one of my attempts at being a professional photographer!

Teeter-Totter!

I guess you are never too old to swing, but you may be too old to flip over...I thought Em was going to ralph!

Trying to get a decent portrait!!

Both Kylie and Tyler fit perfectly into their new clothes from Grammer so we decided to dress them up and get a nice photo! Hmmm, was a nice thought! Here are the results:

Kylie with Mommy

Kylie in her adorable Janie and Jack outfit! (Thanks, Grammer!)

This is the best Grammer/Nana/Grandchildren shot!

Kylie and Great Grammer!

This one was the hardest by far! Sarah had to bribe Tyler with M&M's to sit next to Grammer and smile. Just when Tyler started smiling, Kylie stopped! I had to jump up and down and pull out every trick just to keep Kylie from crying!! If you look closely, you can see that Tyler's little mouth if full of M&M's!

I'm sorry to do this to you...

...but I couldn't believe my eyes when I parked the car and went to get Kylie out of the back seat! She had come down with a cold just before we headed to San Diego complete with a really messy runny nose. On our way from Sarah and Jeff's house to Nana and Grampa's this morning I heard Kylie sneeze a couple times but didn't think much of it. When I parked and got out to get Kylie at the coffee shop I freaked out! I think the pic speaks for itself!!

Am I a bad Mommy for whipping out the camera rather than cleaning to poor girl up?! :)

Playing around with the family!

Here are some pics from our day hanging out with the family:

Trying to get Grammer's drink!

Trying to get downstairs...still working on that one!

Em brought over her new purchases for her new puppy...bows! They made their way onto Oscar...

Tyler...

Gramper...

...and Zoe!

That is, until Kylie tried to rip it out and shove it in her mouth!

Watching, what else, the Wiggles!

Tyler did NOT want to share his "night-night" with Kylie! "NO KYLIE!"

This was adorable! Tyler was watching the Wiggles play musical instruments and all of a sudden got up and ran over to grab Uncle Daniel's guitar to play along!

Reading books with Uncle Daniel!

"I am Cornholio, need TP for my..." well, you know the rest!

Kylie and Uncle Danny!

Yep, I am a bad Mommy...

I give Kylie chips! Okay, not all the time, but she was too cute - I couldn't take it away! Here she is helping herself to some snacks!
